The Sissi Bay Hotel & Spa is set in a tranquil position with the sandy beach only 300 metres away. The centre of Sissi with its shops, restaurants and the picturesque harbour is just 2 minutes away and the bustling resort of Malia is just 3 miles. The hotel is perfect for couples and families looking for a good standard of accommodation with excellent onsite facilities and activities, close to the beach and with the main resort just a short walk away. For a taste of Crete history’s the Minoan Palace at Knossos is not far from the hotel.
Hotel Facilities
The hotel offers many facilities and activities to keep the whole family entertained. There are two shallow swimming pools with giant clown water fountain and slides for children, there is also four outdoor swimming pools for adults. There is an indoor pool located in the Spa area. On site there is a spa and wellness club, Jacuzzi, volleyball court, table football, giant chess, tennis court and billiards. Canoeing, surfing, snorkelling, sailing, banana boats, golf, jet skiing and diving are available for rent and hire nearby.
Additional facilities include 24 hours Reception, currency exchange, medical assistance, 24hr emergency service, TV lounge, internet corner, parking, laundry service and tour desk.
Please note that this hotel is separated by a road and due to the number of the steps within the property, it is unfortunately not suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Room Facilities
All 151 rooms at the Sissi Bay are spacious and comfortable furnished with balcony or terrace offering views of the blue sea, mountains or gardens . They come fully equipped with full bathroom, fridge, hair dryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and safe deposit box (extra charge). Infant cots, ironing facilities, extra bedding, linen, towels are available on request. Triple rooms , Junior suites and family rooms (accommodating up to four or five persons) are also available on request.
Board Basis
The hotel has a restaurant, two poolside snack bars, a cafeteria and a lobby bar. A children’s menu and high chairs are also available.
The hotels All Inclusive programme includes buffet breakfast from 7am to 10am, lunch between 12.30pm and 2.30pm with a choice between two dishes plus salads and buffet style dinner from 6.30pm to 9pm. Breakfast and dinner are available at the main restaurant whilst lunch at the pool bar, as well as snacks (sandwiches and chips) between 10.30am and 12.30pm. Coffee time with cake and ice cream for children is from 4pm to 5.30pm at the pool bar. Locally produced drinks such as ouzo, raki, wine (draught), soft drinks (draught), beer (draught), brandy, coffee and tea are served between 6.30pm and 9pm in the main restaurant and from 10.30am and 11pm at the pool bar.
