The M-S Da Vinci Nile cruise is the ideal way to discover the history of the ancient Egyptian civilization yet enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. Excellent views, good food, range of facilities and fully equipped cabins ensure satisfaction for all guests. The lounge area is the perfect spot to take in the mesmerising scenery whilst sipping a refreshing cocktail.

Facilities

The M-S Da Vinci is a fantastic for Nile Explorations and hosts a range of facilities onboard. The restaurant offers outstanding views of the scenery and the panorama lounge bar is perfect for evening cocktails. There is a pool table (payable locally), library area, gift shop, lounge with satellite TV and laundry service. The shop offers an outdoor pool with sun beds and umbrellas by the pool bar. Evening entertainment includes occasional dancing and theme nights which include a Galabeya Egyptian night, a Nubian folklore evening and belly-dancing.

The restaurant operates a hot and cold breakfast buffet, whilst lunch and dinner are either buffet or waiter service. Complimentary afternoon tea is served daily. Enjoy a cabin service where you can purchase drinks of your choice between 0900 and 2300 hours.

Cabin Facilities

All cabins onboard the M-S Da Vincci are bright, airy and equipped with a private shower (which is over a small bath), air conditioning, taped music, fridge, television, a table and two chairs with a window.

Smoking is not permitted in the cabins.

Cruise Information

Day 1:Arrival at Luxor and embarkation on the ship.

Day 2:In the morning, departure for the West Bank area to visit the Ancient Theban Necropolis. You will discover: the Valley of the Kings; the temple of Habu, the only remaining of the funerary Temple of Amenophis; the colossi of Memnon. During the afternoon, navigation towards Esna and overnight.

Day 3:In the morning, navigation to Edfu and Kom Ombo to visit the temple of Horus or the temple of Kom Ombo During the afternoon, navigation to Aswan and overnight.

Day 4:In the morning, visit of the Lyrical Temples of Philae (rising from the waters of the Nile. During the afternoon, sailing around in the traditional saling boat Felucca, viewing the Agha Khan Mausoleum and the Botanical Garden (Kitchner Island). Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5:Free time at leisure or optional excursion to Abu Simbel, to see the Temples of Ramses II. During the afternoon, navigation to Edfu via Kom Ombo and overnight.

Day 6:Visit to best preserved Temple in Egypt dedicated to the Falcon God Horus. During the afternoon, navigation to Luxor via Esna and overnight in Luxor.

Day 7:Visit of the fabulous Luxor Temple and the enormous Temple complex of Karnak . Free time at leisure and overnight in Luxor.

Day 8:Disembarkation after breakfast.
