




Florida is a state in the south east of the United States of America and has the 4th highest population in the US. It is bordered to the west by the Gulf of Mexico and by the east by the Atlantic Ocean. It is a state of Ethnic Diversity, with its culture being a reflection of its numerous influences with Native American, European American, African American and Hispanic heritages. You will also find that due to this the main languages spoken are English and Spanish.

Miami is a city located on the Atlantic coast in south east Florida. Miami is world famous for its beaches (south beach & Miami Beach) and its great night life. It is world famous for its shopping, night clubs and festivals.
Daytona Beach is a city located in the fun coast region of Florida. It is world famous for its NASCAR international speedway racing (featured in the Tom Cruise movie “Days of Thunder”). It is also popular for its year round family friendly resort area.

The Florida Keys are a small set of islands which start at the south of Miami and arc southwest to the westward island, known as Key West. The islands benefit from a tropical temperature and are great if you are looking more for a relaxing holiday.
The Florida Everglades were established as a national park in 1947. The Everglades are famous for the crocodiles and leatherback turtles. Try to make a tour of the national park part of your trip to Florida.
